We're looking for a food service management company with vision and a willingness to try something different in creating a public eatery that celebrates the history of the soda fountain. It will be part of a museum that reflects on the 400 year history of the Drugstore in America. Not a convenience for museum visitors, but a major attraction to the museum as it serves up concoctions of the past (as closely as health officials will allow) from three or four different vintages of back bars (one common eating area), from the early "healing" waters through the ice cream confections, fruit beverages, and up to the lunch counter with hot meals and sandwiches.

In addition we have a downstairs location (open to sidewalk above) that would be perfect for a 20's Speakeasy -- to reflect on the 19th Amendment and the "medicinal" uses of alcohol obtained from the druggist by legal prescription.

These can't be cookie cutter operations, as they must provide a fun and nostalgic look at the good ol days and send patrons out to tell the world what they've experienced while they plan their return for more sinful treats.

We are a well-endowed not-for-profit public foundation and want to show our visitors what this American pop culture icon is all about. Our new four story museum vintage buildings will contain 50,000 sq. ft. of display and public space and is located in the heart of a newly revitalized downtown historic neighborhood within walking distance of a convention center, new venues for NFL and NBA franchises, a booming four story urban shopping mall, 10 chain hotels and more than 20 restaurants including a Palominos, Ruth's Chris, Hard Rock Cafe, Jillian's, el busto Planet Hollywood (R.I.P.) and Morton's Steak House, and many others.

Your comments, suggestions of companies who might be interested in exploring there opportunities or consultants who could help find the right match will be most appreciated. Thank you for your indulgence.

Sincerely, Jim Rogers, Executive Director
