WEB MARKETING
If you want to get some great ideas on how to use the web to market a pub, take a look at the website for Billy the Pigs
http://www.billythepigs.com.au, a pub outside Sydney owned by my friend Max Hitchins. He set out to design the best pub
website in the world and if he hasn't succeeded, he has certainly come close. Take a look at Billy's Club, particularly the
Billy's Bucks idea. There is a lot of creative thinking here that you may be able to adapt.
Along this line, I have the audio tape of a panel I moderated at the Foodservice Marketing War College in Orlando on the subject "Can You Make Money On the Internet?" Panelists included Lydia Cheng of NRN, Joel Cohen of Cohen Marketing in Houston, Gayle Guynup of Michael's on East in Sarasota and Pam Monnier of Chez Pierre in Tallahassee. We covered the range of options open to operators who want to create a web presence and there is a lot of great information on this tape. MAX IS BACK?

WHERE AM I?
My body arrived back in Gig Harbor last night and my brain is expected any minute! The trip was fantastic, I learned a lot
and my ideas were well-received by the people I talked to. What more could I ask?
