GUEST-FRIENDLY MENUS
If you attract a strong business lunch crowd, consider the aesthetic factor when selecting menu items. By this I mean what will someone look like as they are eating it? Fettuccini alfredo is a great dish -- popular and with a good cost factor -- but it is not particularly guest-friendly when it comes to eating it. (If you have ever watched someone eat pasta, you can relate.) If your menu features items that can safely be eaten without the fear of dripping, slurping, dropping or other embarrassments, you will become the restaurant of choice for those important luncheon or dinner meetings.
