Le Route de Laundry
The trek to the laundry is not something you would want to do after a bottle of wine. Down the hall, down the stairs, through the door, down the stairs, around the counter, (carefully) through the shop and then good luck figuring out the machines.
I did actually get out of the house twice today -- both times to the Festival des Pains, a lovely boulangerie a block or so away. This is a labor of love for Elisabeth and Thierry Cochard and it shows in their work. Elisabeth is a little camera-shy ... but somehow I will manage to get a photo of the two of them before we leave on Friday.
