Wrapping It Up
Gawd, I love this building! I promise, these are the last photos of Les Halles in Nolay ... at least until the next trip!
January 7th and the Christmas lights were all still keeping the holiday spirit alive in Roissy. It is easy to miss the fact that there is a real village next to the massive Charles de Gaulle airport. Beautiful downtown Roissy was right across the road from our hotel. Very convenient.
In typical French holiday fashion, many of the restaurants in town were closed. I had a burn for a pizza but apparently the pizzeria listed on the tourist map had changed hands and was now a brasserie of some sort. The only other pizza we saw was strictly a take-out place. But we did stumble across this lovely little creperie which provided just the sort of light meal we were after. We will be overnighting at the same hotel when we return in May and I will definitely remember this spot.
