The Daily Diary of a Wandering Restaurateur
December 5 - Puerto San Luis Yacht Club

Here is the "yacht" at the Yacht Club. Really. The development is on a cove of Lake Arenal and is a pretty enough spot. As you can see from the expanse of empty tables behind Margene, the place is massively over-sized ... and you can only see half of the dining room!

We couldn't really decide on what we wanted to eat so went for the appetizer sampler platter. Look at Margene's hand and you will get a sense of the size of this thing! (Hey, it was only about $15 -- cheaper than getting two individual apps and about the same as the lowest priced entree!) Needless to say, we only managed to get through part of it and came home with a "doggie box" that easily weighed three pounds!
