A Quickie in Paris
Roissy is a real town with a real history ... which I suspect has been overpowered by the imposing presence of the sprawling Charles DeGaulle Airport next door. The town decided to tell its story with dozens of tasteful displays in the park showing both old photos of the area and artier photos from a local photographer. I stayed with the old shots, many of them from postcards circa 1905-1915. They struck me as more interesting!
