October 29 - Brisbane

We didn't attempt to explore all of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens but what we saw was quite pleasant. The billabong (pool) was teeming with fish and birds of all description. The photo on the right shows a mess of ibis nesting in some of the palm trees - not something we get to see every day.
