The daily diary of a wandering restaurateur Down Under
November 8 - Papamoa
When we got to Papamoa, we stopped for lunch at the Blowfish Café tucked into the back of a local shopping center. The place itself was realtively unremarkable but I was impressed with their presentation, even on a simple item like fish & chips. You can see how easy it would have been to present this as a flat plate of food and how much more interesting it looks with a bit of height and garnish. Are you still serving flat food? If so, stop it!
