This is the serving line at La San Francesco, a 400-seat cafeteria-style operation in Orvieto. The food was good, very reasonably priced . . . and we were in and out considerably faster than we would have been in a trattoria or ristorante.

Dinner at one of our favorite places -- the long stone table on the patio of our villa! Some pasta, bread, cheese, wine, good company -- what more do you need?
