A few shots of the house from above. Parking is on the road and then you walk down to the villa.

Part of the house from below. The shot on the right shows the covered patio where we have enjoyed several pleasant meals and much good company.

The pool officially opens in a couple of weeks although it looks nearly ready to go now. Our guess is that the water would be absolutely freezing at this stage of the season, so opted for looking not for swimming. I can see where it would be a welcome touch in the heat of summer, however. On the right is Maria, our housekeeper at Il Furioso. She spoke no English, but she and Margene got along reasonably well in Italian.
