The daily diary of a wandering restaurateur In France
May 28 - Gray, Chateau de Rosieres
Another version of the handheld credit card verification unit, this time at an outdoor restaurant in Gray. Perhaps I'm just not getting around enough, but I haven't seen these in the US yet. I suspect if they are this common in Europe, they will soon be on your "wish list."
In our exploration of the Chateau de Rosieres, I was shocked to climb up a 500-year old stone spiral staircase to find this kitchen! Apparently they have found a market for group functions like weddings and receptions and have outfitted themselves appropriately.
