Rest area by a canal Local bar/restaurant

Lunch today was a picnic by the canal. This little spot was like a roadside rest stop for barges, with a picnic area, several spots to tie up and a public bath/shower facility. The shot on the right is of a little village bar/restaurant near where we are staying. These places have a wonderful allure and I would love to stop and visit them all. Alas, my French is too poor . . . and Margene would tire of it quickly!
