The daily diary of a wandering restaurateur In France
May 31 - Fontaine-Francaise
There seem to be three dining options in town. The local hotel has a restaurant and a bar (meals in the restaurant, sandwiches in the bar.) You can take the option we chose today and have your bread/wine/fruit/cheese picnic under a tree by the river. (Be sure to feed the ducks and fish with the bread you didn't finish)
Option three is to be a guest at Le Vieux Moulin and let Patrick and Laurence prepare a nightly repast . . . for about $10 a head . . . including wine! What's your vote?
