July 25 - Brussels

This restaurant at the Waterloo battle site is either very, very old or very, very poorly maintained (maybe both) . . . but you can dine outside! The second shot is another outside dining spot at Waterloo.

Even Mickey D's in Leuven will let you dine al fresco. It does seem a bit out of place in town, however!

Here is another outdoor café in front of one of the old buildings on the square. In the building immediately to the right of the one shown is La Maison du Cygne (The House of the Swan), one of the premier restaurants in Brussels.
