The day was mostly about Amsterdam -- a fascinating, if hectic city. We took a 90-minute canal cruise which really gave a flavor of the uniqueness of the place.

IJesselstein Paul and Jac'lien Pilgram

We have been staying in IJsselstein (pronounced EYE-sul-stine), a delightful town about 25 miles south of Amsterdam and just outside the city of Utrecht. Our ATC hosts have been Paul and Jack'lien Pilgram, who only moved here about six months ago themselves!
