April 21 - Villefranche sur Mer

We didn't have time to do much else but make a quick trip.

"Restaurant Row" along the Villefranche harborfront. We picked one at random (well, actually by which one was open before 7pm!), had some good seafood and called it a day.

I liked the way they presented the check ... particularly when the check was just a slip of cash register tape. They did, however, process the credit card at the table with a wireless terminal. I still don't understand why this technology hasn't caught on in the US.
