The Daily Diary of a Wandering Restaurateur
April 22 - Back to Gudiolo

This is the third time we have stayed in this house ... and (obviously) we just love the place! The building still retains the funky charm of its origins (14th century?) with stone floors, hand hewn ceiling beams, crooked little staircases -- in short, a totally memorable accommodation! Regular readers of the trip reports have seen all this before, but for the newbies, here is a taste of where we will spend the week.

By the way, if you are interested in rentals in Umbria or Tuscany, we recommend you take a look at Summers Leases. We have been renting through them since 2000 and have always been impressed with the houses they offer.
