The Daily Diary of a Wandering Restaurateur
April 27 - Around Umbria (and Tuscany)
These were the antipasti platters at the restaurant in Montivarchi where we had lunch. The first is with meat, the second a vegetarian selection. Not only were they tasty, but I appreciated the WOW factor in the presentation. I think you could easily sell something like this in the US.
During pre-meal cocktails we often have a slideshow of some of the photos taken that day. The easiest way to do that is to download the shots and play them on the computer. Here I am playing narrator as John and Suzanne get caught up. Talk about a WOW -- Sandra's pannacotta was a terrific way to end a great meal. Best of all, we have enough leftovers to do most of it again for lunch tomorrow!
