April 29 - The Road to the Riviera
Well, another week has slipped away and our little band scatters once again. Dieter and Hildegard are giving the Millers a ride back to the north. They will spend two days on the road, overnighting around Lake Garda. When they get to Austria, John and Suzanne will catch a train to Zurich and spend a few days with another ATC host. Then they are off for ten days on a Greek island. They will arrive back in Gig Harbor two days before we do.
For us it was seven hours on the road -- which sounds a lot less romantic. It was definitely a less romantic ride, but when it was over we were back on the French Riviera, an entirely new area for us to explore.
