The Daily Diary of a Wandering Restaurateur
May 8 - Elsewhere Around the Luberon

A few photos from our wanderings around the Luberon valley.

The towns of Lacoste and Bonneiux occupy the high ground. There are a lot of villages like this in the Luberon.

We were told that a number of Americans (20? 2?) were purchasing property in Bonnieux. Fortunately we did not run into any of them.

We stopped into a little bar/restaurant for a reasonably good pizza. They brought me some hot oil to put on the pizza, I suppose roughly equivalent to the pepper flakes you see in the US. It had a nice bite to it and could make an interesting point of difference for the US pizzeria that wanted to search it out.

After the storm, the river had a magical feel.
