The day was clear and sunny, but cool and very windy -- a great day to stay home and watch the ever-changing scene right outside our door.

There is always something happening on the river, even if it just to watch the play of light on the water. Those stories that you hear about the quality of light in Provence that inspired the great painters? They area all true. It is just a shame that it can't be captured adequately in a photo.
