May 10 - Venasque

We stopped for lunch in the tiny hill town of Venasque.

Here are a few shots that give a feel for the town ... and there wasn't too much more to it than this.

We ate lunch at La Terrasse de la Fontaine (the terrace at the fountain) in the middle of town. We are getting in the habit of eating our major meal at noon, much as the French do, and just snacking in the evening. It is actually a much healthier eating pattern, although one I doubt that you could convert most Americans to.
