The Daily Diary of a Wandering Restaurateur
May 12 - Wandering

I think I'll just let you follow us around today.

The horses were back this morning, grazing the river bottom. We still don't know if they belong to someone or are just wild.

There were a lot of vehicles similar to this pizza truck at the Carpentras market. The pies were pre-baked and just reheated in an onboard oven. Good news! Van Gogh's missing ear has been found. It is carved in stone and lying on the bottom of the River Sorgue.

A few more random shots around L'Isle sur La Sorgue. The water really makes a difference in the feel of the town, providing an ongoing feeling of energy even on a gray day with few people on the streets.
