The daily diary of a wandering restaurateur
November 29 - The Road to Burgundy

I can see that this would be a wonderful place to be in the summer. The house itself is really done up well and the location by the canal is definitely a plus.

Jean-Cristophe and Margene plot strategy ... and itineraries.

Our little triangular house on the Burgundy Canal.

The lower level has a living room with fireplace. The TV is in the armoire ... but no English language channels. The kitchen is bright and clean with two small refrigerators and a dishwasher. There is even a washer and dryer! The washer is not unusual but clothes dryers are a rarity in Europe. I suppose that is is difficult to hang things out to dry in the rain, though.

A few shots around the neighborhood. The day was overcast and showery, but we expected that sort of weather this time of year.
