The daily diary of a wandering restaurateur
December 9 - A Taste of Todi

The day was rather dark and dreary with spitting rain. It gave the town a whole different feel, but made for lousy photos. So I am recycling a few shots from our first visit here in 2001 to give you at least a feel for the town. All the action centers on the main piazza, one of the largest in Italy. Traffic is highly restricted with visitors parking down the hill and taking a funicular -- kind of an angled elevator on a track -- up to the town.
