Sorrento from La Minervetta Sorrento from Settimo Cielo

A couple of shots of Sorrento and the bay. I liked the first because of the huge sailing ship (it was far too big to be called a sail BOAT). It was taken from the terrace at La Minervetta. The shot on the right was taken from our room at Settimo Cielo (Seventh Heaven), right next to La Minervetta. As the sun went down, the western light really highlighted the town.

All this part of the coast hangs on the cliffs. This is the view DOWN from our room to the beach below . . . and we are already five floors below street level!
