Cinzia at Cantina del Saltapicchio Silvana Canuti

On the left is Cinzia, a partner in Cantina del Saltapicchio, the local wine bar and our favorite haunt in Citta. She is explaining the grappa that won the annual competition for best grappa in Italy. Eric is seriously into grappa which is sort of an aviation fuel distilled from grapes . . . or most anything else for that matter.

While we were wandering around town, Silvana Cunati, owner of Ristorante Silvana (where we had dinner our first night in town) invited us in for espresso and conversation.
