The daily diary of a wandering restaurateur In Italy
July 25 - Florence
The view from the Uffizi Gallery (down both sides of the street) into the Piazza de Signoria. The place was packed and we were told that this was a quiet time of year. Apparently in season there are 2000 busses a day rolling into town!
The Duomo is Florence's famous church. (There are two pictures here -- it really does not fold over in the middle!) The exterior is as impressive as the interior!
