May 22 - Montone

We go from big hill towns like Montepulciano to tiny, personal-sized ones like Montone, a few kilometers north of where we are staying. Again, I will let the photos do the talking -- they convey a much better idea of what it feels like.

Finally, a bit of local color. The "chicken lady" was a real hoot -- but the chickens were not too keen on the concept.
