May 12 - A Really Down Day in Umbria
The first picture is a photo of a photo -- an aerial shot of the house and grounds taken, I suspect, shortly after the renovations were finished. Notice that there is no ivy on the walls yet. The second photo is also a picture of a picture, in this case the "before" picture of the property. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have cost to bring this place from its condition in the picture to its present condition.
