May 25 - Headed for Milan
Leaving Villa Tiboldi was like leaving home. Normally we prefer to rent houses and be in one place for at least a week at a time. However, this place makes a great case for hotel living ... and at prices comparable to sharing a house. We will have to think this over carefully when we plan our return visit to the Piemonte
This trip we decided to stay at the Hotel Cervo, located minutes from Milan's Malpensa airport, both on the night we arrived and on the night before we left. It is a comfortable hotel with a decent restaurant and was a nice buffer coming and going. All that said, however, there is no place like home ... and we are happy to be back in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
