June 9 - Cesky Krumlov

A few stray shots before we leave town with our loot! On the left is a scene from the bear pit at the castle. Instead of a moat full of water, when they pulled up the drawbridge, would-be attackers had to make their way through a deep ditch filled with bears! After a hard day of entertaining the tourists, even a bear needs a break! On the right is a shot of our pension from the street. The building was built in the 16^th century and recently renovated, although not in the historic style.
