Watch this site for the daily diary of a wandering restaurateur in China.
This will be a very different sort of trip report because it is not being written as the trip progresses. In
fact, it is being written six years after the trip occurred! Procrastination? Well, yes and no. Yes in the sense
that it is way late. No in the sense that this was, for the most part, a business trip and therefore required a
bit more focus. The truth is that I probably could have done it at the time, I just didn't ... and so the photos
sat until May 2008 when I returned from another trip to China. I was amazed at how much had
changed in just six short years ... which got me thinking about this trip ... which got me
feeling a bit guilty about never having organized and uploaded the information.
Anyway, while my head was in a China mode I thought I would bite the bullet and try to make some sense of the pile of pixels from this trip. At that point, a day-by-day diary was impossible to do. So instead, I just tried to arrange the photos in a way that told the story and let the pictures do most of the talking.
