May 13 - Odds and Ends in Umbria
The plumber arrived and the Krumps finally have water flowing in their shower again. (Hey, this is big news around here ... particularly for Don and Sharon!)
Maybe it is just that the group energy is mellowing out, maybe we are getting tired ... who knows? I can report that nobody was in any big hurry to hit the road today. Instead, most of the morning was lolly-gagged away just reading and writing postcards. We did rally for a noon-ish excursion back to the lake for a pizza and some last-minute shopping, then it was back to our house on the hill for another one of Sandras amazing meals.
What we learned tonight was that she cooks for at least two more people than are at the table ... maybe more! When we do this again, we will have her cook every OTHER night so we can live on the leftovers in between!
